		<description>My mother has a long list of verses (a &quot;scripture chain&quot;) that she reads when she needs to feel peace or encouragement, and I&#039;ve been building on her list slowly.  One of my favorites chapters is Romans 8, especially verses 18 and 28 (KJV, because that&#039;s how I roll):

&lt;em&gt;For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.&lt;/em&gt;

&lt;em&gt;And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. &lt;/em&gt;
